It’s a Wonderful Life 70th anniversary screening at Academy in Los Angeles

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will screen It’s a Wonderful Life on November 21. Don’t miss this screening of the film celebrating its 70th anniversary this holiday season.

Frank Capra’s holiday classic, a perennial Christmas favorite, has been treasured by three generations of filmgoers. Thanks in part to a concert suite published by Hal Leonard in 2009, the music score for the film has been performed around the world in recent years and is fast becoming one of Tiomkin’s most performed works.

The evening will feature cast members Karolyn Grimes (Zuzu), Carol Coombs Mueller (Janie), and Jimmy Hawkins (Tommy) and special guest Tom Capra along with home movie footage from the It’s a Wonderful Life wrap party and a special holiday exhibit in the Goldwyn’s grand lobby.

The screening will take place at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, 8949 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills on Monday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. This event will likely sell out, so get your tickets today.
