Hal Leonard publishes Alamo and Circus World music

Alamo Hal Leonard coverA concert suite for The Alamo and “The John Wayne ‘Duke’ March” from Circus World are the latest additions to the Symphony Pops series from the Hal Leonard Corporation featuring film and television music by Dimitri Tiomkin.

The Alamo concert suite is for full orchestra with optional SATB chorus and includes includes the memorable battle music as well as the popular song, “The Green Leaves of Summer.” The thirteen-minute suite is arranged by Christopher Palmer and Patrick Russ. The score and parts are now available for purchase (HL 04491970).

The John Wayne March” from Circus World is aimed at professional symphony orchestras as arranged by Patrick Russ. The score and parts for the two-and-half-minute piece are now available for purchase (HL 04491975).

This brings to five, the number of volumes in the Symphony Pops series for composer Tiomkin. Previously released concert music includes music from It’s a Wonderful Life, High Noon, and Rawhide.
