The city of Kremenchug presents a gala concert for the Dimitri Tiomkin jazz piano improvisation competition at the International Jazz Festival (“Energy”) on May 18, 2012. Young pianists will perform improvisations on selected Tiomkin compositions. Dimitri Tiomkin was born in Kremenchug in 1894.
