The LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) presents “The Other 3 Tenors” at the Civic Auditorium in LaPorte, Indiana on November 15, 2014. It is the opening night concert for the regional orchestra. Conductor Philip Bauman will lead the LCSO and Wirt-Emerson Concert Choir in the “Ballad” from The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, music by Dimitri Tiomkin.

Fun fact: Director John D. Hancock filmed Prancer in the LaPorte area and the LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra performed the world premiere of a suite from Maurice Jarre’s score for the motion picture. Patrick Russ, long associated with arranging concert suites of Dimitri Tiomkin’s music orchestrated portions of Prancer.
